responding in times of crises
When crisis strikes, urgent resources are ready, and often prepositioned, to reach areas in need as quickly as possible through ADRA’s global network and partners. Funds, materials, and personnel are coordinated through ADRA’s country offices nearest to the disaster so plans can be put into action immediately and appropriate relief supplies reach the areas hardest hit.
Did you Know?
ADRA is a principal agency that responds with food packs and WASH kits distributions in any disaster, working closely with the Fijian government, particularly the National Disaster Management Office. Following the emergency intervention, ADRA continues to assess people’s needs to provide other appropriate support.
ADRA Fiji’s timely emergency response after the activation of its National Emergency Management Plan (NEMP) is supported by ADRA Global Network.
